Mt. McIntyre Disc Golf Course
Whitehorse, Yukon
The Mt. Mac disc golf course, though of generally as the ol’ faithful to local players, is an 18 hole course (2 T-pads) located relatively close to the city and next to the Canada Games Centre (CGC). This course plays in the cross-country ski trails of the Mt. Mac Recreation Centre, a facility known as one of the most effective ski training grounds in Canada.
When driving up the hill past the CGC, the pull off for the disc golf course is the next turnoff after the one for the curling club and ski facility, and is marked by a “DISC GOLF” sign right next to the highway.
Signage is in the process of being improved but a good look at the sign near the parking lot will give you a good sense of the course layout. The course features tight wooded shots, lots of precision and positioning, and some punishing rollaway potential. It’s all worth it for Hole 18, which is a wide-open downhill shot
Brand new baskets were installed in 2024 by the Whitehorse Disc Golf Association and member volunteers.
